Purpose:
As a subcommittee of the McNear School Site Council (SSC), the McNear Community Committee (CC) is collaborative group of parents and staff members who regularly meet to provide focused consideration of McNear’s school climate and community priorities. The purpose of the CC is to facilitate a supportive and engaged community of teachers, staff, parents and students through ongoing communication and coordination of school-wide events. The charter of the CC is to foster and sustain dialogue, traditions and community involvement that strengthen connections and identity for all at McNear.
