The Y is committed to the healthy development of your child through a “child centered” environment that provides encouragement as well as group participation. The Y provides activities that are developed to encourage children to have fun, develop new skills and enhance self-esteem. A variety of activities includes: arts, crafts, games, sports, skits, music, special events, guests and more. For younger children activities include: dramatic play, large motor skills development and emphasis on basic skills development. Weekly themes for activities are occasionally used to give emphasis to a particular program objective. We seek to expand children’s potential by providing a creative, fun environment in which they can develop socially, intellectually, physically and emotionally.
